When should I arrive?

Our services start at 11:00 am. However, we encourage you to arrive a few minutes early for a chance to meet our members and join us in worship!

What should I wear to services?

We want you to feel at home. Some of our members worship in blue jeans, sweatshirts and athletic shoes while others arrive in suits and ties or dresses and pumps. It doesn’t matter. You will feel comfortable at Great Commission Church of God.

How long is service?

Our services average 75 minutes. All services begin with praise and worship.You are encouraged to sing with our choir. This is followed by prayer and a powerful message from our Pastor, Rev. Malachi Walker

Is there a place for my kids?

Yes, we have an active children's ministry in the church's lower level. You can talk your child downstairs after the Video Moment.

Can I attend if I am ________?

Yes! Fill in the blank. Every age, race, background and disability is welcome at Great Commission Church of God. We’re all family and our doors is open to you!

Become A Member

All new members 18 and over must complete “NEXT STEPS”. This class is for new members and we would love to have you as a part of our fellowship. The class is offered bi-monthly on the dates identified below.

All classes are held on Saturdays, from 10am – 2:30pm.“NEXT STEPS” is designed so that you become familiar with Living a Saved Life, Church of God Doctrine and Ordinances, Spiritual Gifts, Ministries within the Church, and much more. Once you have completed “NEXT STEPS” you will be able to find a place to get involved, get connected, and start serving. You are expected to stay for the entire class time. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served.

Upon completion of “NEXT STEPS”, you will receive a certificate of membership and completion. You only have to choose one class. NEW MEMBERS MUST COMPLETE “NEXT STEPS” BEFORE SERVING IN ANY CAPACITY WITHIN GREAT COMMISSION CHURCH OF GOD.
